Terms of Use

Summary: These terms explain app use, the free plan, auto-renewable Premium subscriptions, cancellation, refunds and support. By using Habticks, you accept these terms and the applicable Apple App Store terms.

1. Service

Habticks is an iOS app for tracking habits, check-ins, streaks, statistics, local reminders, routines and habit relationships. It is a productivity and general wellness tool, not a medical diagnosis, treatment or advice app.

2. License

You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use Habticks on Apple devices you control, according to these terms and App Store rules. You may not copy, modify, sell, distribute, decompile or attempt to extract the app's source code, except where applicable law expressly allows it.

3. Free plan

The free plan lets you track up to 3 habits with essential features including check-ins, streaks, basic reminders and core statistics.

4. Premium subscription

Habticks offers auto-renewable Premium subscriptions through Apple in-app purchases: Premium monthly for 1 month and Premium yearly for 1 year. Premium unlocks unlimited habits, advanced statistics and premium templates. Reference prices are US$ 2.99 per month and US$ 29.99 per year; Apple shows the final price, taxes, currency and regional differences before purchase confirmation.

5. Payment, renewal and cancellation

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm purchase.
  • The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Apple may charge renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings or through the management option inside the app.
  • After cancellation, Premium access remains active until the end of the paid period.

6. Refunds

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com or Apple Support. Habticks does not process refunds directly and does not receive your payment details.

7. Privacy

Your use of Habticks is also governed by our Privacy Policy. In short, habit data stays locally on the device, without tracking, advertising or third-party analytics.

8. User responsibilities

You are responsible for protecting your device, iOS and Apple ID. Because app data is local, you are also responsible for managing device backups if you want to preserve history after device loss, replacement or uninstalling.

9. No medical advice

Habticks may help track wellness habits, but it is not a medical app. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment, prescription or medical advice. Consult qualified professionals for health decisions.

10. Availability and changes

We may correct, change, add or remove features to improve the app or meet technical, legal or App Store requirements. Material changes affecting paid subscriptions will be handled according to Apple rules and applicable law.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Habticks is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee specific habit-building results. We are not responsible for indirect losses, consequential damages, data loss caused by uninstalling, device failure or backup settings outside our control.

12. Apple terms

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store. These terms are between you and Habticks, not Apple. Apple is not required to provide app support or maintenance. Apple may be a third-party beneficiary of these terms where applicable. When these terms do not cover a point, the Apple Standard EULA applies.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law and applicable European Union law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in other territories where the app is available.
